Formula
Depending on which screen you view your attack stat in-game, the value may be rounded, but on most screens the mathematical ceiling is used, i.e. 1000.2 → 1001.
In regards to calculating damage, the ceiling is only taken after all calculations. So if you input your attack as 1500 when the true value is 1500.8, the total damage number may be slightly off from what you see in-game.
Details
- Action Damage
- The specific skill or attack's damage % value.
- Special Effects
- Attack UP + Advanced Skill Damage + Melee/Ranged Damage + Damage to Status Ailment Enemy. Damage special effects go here despite not increasing your attack stat.
- Elemental Weakness Damage
- Enemy elemental weakness + Elemental weakness special effects + EX element + Elemental flux + Elemental weakness mod. Caps at 2.
- Critical Damage
- Weapon crit damage + Crit damage special effects + Crit damage mod.
- Enemy Part Damage Scale
- Enemy body part damage scale. If weak point, + Weak point damage special effects + Weak point damage mod.
- Weak Point Weapon Bonus
- Extra multiplier for ranged weapons based on enemy classification (normal/named/boss). Presumably 1x for melee.
Keep in mind the conditions to activate certain multipliers, i.e. must be a critical hit to apply Critical Damage, must match elemental weakness to apply Elemental Weakness Damage, etc.

- Bullet Damage Scale
